The Wild West Collective is first and foremost a full service event rentals company. We offer everything from small items like flatware & napkins, to bigger event infrastructure items like tents & dance floors.
In addition to offering high quality and unique rentals for events, we also offer wedding & event planning & design services.

EVENT LABORER
An event laborer is a seasonal position with work usually occurring from mid May through mid October, with the option to be year round if you excel at the position and show strong leadership skills, are able to problem solve under pressure, and are a reliable employee.
You will be working with the entire rentals team to deliver, set up, tear down, and pick up rentals for the events we have occurring during the rentals season (mid may - mid october). This is a manual labor position that requires you to be able to lift heavy and bulky objects. While the locations we deliver rentals to are beautiful & scenic, the work is hard. Please do not apply for this position if you are not comfortable with hard, manual labor.
Your tasks will be to:
Process, maintain, and package party rental equipment including tents, folding chairs & tables, dance floors, lighting, miscellaneous party/event supplies such as silverware, linens, etc. using hand trucks and hand tools.
Set up and remove party rental equipment in all weather conditions.
Perform other related general labor.
Load equipment onto trailer or trucks for delivery to the event location.
Set up tents, dance floors, and other large equipment items.
Disassemble and take down the same equipment for return to the company's storage facilities.
Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds. On the job training provided.
This position can be part time or full time during rentals season (mid may - mid october), depending on the needs of the applicant.
Primary working days are Thursday, Friday, Sunday, and Mondays. Occasionally working on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays as needed based on the delivery and pick up workload over a given weekend. Your schedule for the season from mid May - mid October will be set by April 30th so you have plenty of time to coordinate with child care and other obligations as needed.
*All of the positions listed above are eligible to become full time, year round positions. The availability to become a year round employee with us will be discussed towards the end of the season in September or October, and will be wholly based on the work ethic and attitude that is observed while working with us.
Pay & Benefits
STARTING PAY
All positions will start at $19.14/hour for the first 80 hours you are working with us. We do this because there is an enormous amount of on the job training that needs to be done and it would not be fair for you to be making the same amount as our experienced team members.
RAISES
After you reach 80 hours with us, you will be eligible for a $1/hour raise each additional 160 hours that you work for us through the end of the season, earning up to $22/hour during your first full year working with us. Raises will be given based on your work ethic, ability to contribute to the team, willingness to learn and grow, and your reliability.
Basically if you are a team player, do your job well, and don’t add stress to the team, I will reward your good work ethic.
OVERTIME
All positions are hourly and are overtime eligible over 40 hours per week at 1.5x your regular pay rate ($28.71 - $33.00/hour). Our full time team members usually earn anywhere from 10-20 hours of overtime per week, with some weeks reaching 30 hours of overtime.
OTHER BENEFITS
At this time we are unable to offer any additional benefits, like health insurance, to our seasonal employees.
